Louis Longin

Doctoral Researcher working on human-AI perception

I am a PhD candidate at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) in Munich, Germany. My research focuses on perception in human and artificial systems. This includes human sensory augmentation and human-AI interaction.

I am a Fellow of the Bavarian Research Institute for Digital Transformation (bidt) and part of the CVBE Cognition, Values and Behaviour group.

Currently, I am working on a paper on the understanding responsibility attribution to human users of AI advisory systems. Is the human user perceived as fully responsible when using an AI assistant?

Previous work has focused on understanding perceptual co-representation and intelligent sensory augmentation.

Besides philosophy, I was the Academic Director of ThinkTech, a non-profit organisation discussing the societal impact of technology. Now I am a father of one.

You can find me on Twitter, LinkedIn and ORCID.
